Legal Assistant to:

Born and raised in the Lower Mainland and having been a resident of Surrey, BC for the past 20 years, I joined the Peterson Stark Scott team in 2002.

As a hair stylist by trade and looking for a career change, I commenced my employment with the firm working in reception. I worked my way up to administrative assistant for the various lawyers at the firm working principally on the contract for the Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation from 2003 to 2008. During that time I also assisted lawyers at the firm on private family files and personal injury files, eventually leaving most contract work in 2008 to become a Legal Assistant to our family law group of lawyers, where I continue to this day. Currently, I primarily work on Supreme Court family files and Provincial Court family files for the various family lawyers at PSS. I also assist our lawyers who are counsel for the Ministry, when required

I enjoy attending Continuing Legal Education classes to upgrade my skills and networking with fellow Legal Assistants and Paralegals.

Since 2004 I, along with the help of other co-workers at PSS, raise funds throughout the year to raise money for the Surrey Food Bank...our firm's principal charities.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and our two Chihuahuas. I also enjoy reading, playing poker, attending concerts and walks with my dogs.

Peterson Stark is a full-service law firm and provides a professional yet family atmosphere which I believe is one reason we, as a firm, have a high retention rate for our support staff and our clients.
