My perspective to the practice of law focuses on a holistic client-centered approach to resolve issues comprehensively, with the highest ethical standards.

I realize that the legal issues faced by clients are only part of the equation, and that a true client-centered approach evaluates all aspects of the matter.  Where possible, I try to minimize conflict through creative, practical solutions.  I have extensive courtroom experience, but encourage resolution outside of court whenever it better serves client needs.

I practice in estate planning, estate litigation, real estate transactions including foreclosures, and family law. I have a particular interest in issues facing the LGBTQ2I communities.

I also represent the Minister under the Employment and Assistance Act in the Provincial Courts in Surrey and New Westminster, and often at the B.C. Supreme Courts in New Westminster and Vancouver.

As a law student, I worked for the Innocence Project at Osgoode Hall Law School, whereby I investigated claims of wrongful conviction, and co-wrote a successful application to the Minister of Justice under the then section 690 of the Criminal Code.
